This was my post workout drink after last night. If you look at my previous post I made, well when I came home after my workout, this is what I prepared.
This first photo, first off I poured 1/2 a glass of orange juice and 1/2 a glass water into the blender. I then put a handful of spinach, two parts of a celery stick, and 1/2 a banana.
I put 1/2 a glass of orange juice because with a whole glass, we get all that extra sugar. It’s better to dilute the carton O.J.s from the grocery stores. We also add flavor to the drink by adding the veggies and protein powder.
Lastly I put one scoop of vanilla whey protein powder from Henry’s. All natural, cows not treated with human growth hormones and a teaspoon of fiber
I put a scoop of fiber because we need to clean out bodies of waste and extra food that lingers in our intestines. I have another post about fiber so check that out if you’re interested in the details.
It was very good and I took a few vitamins with it. Here’s a pic of the protein powders I alternate.
